Sitting in a Desk

To work or not to work that is the question
Whether ‘tis easier to do nothing at all
As you waste life’s precious time
Or rise up to any challenged faced
We all need to pull our own weight

To fish, to hit the piñata
No more, cut down trees for lumber
The more we start dancing outdoors
That hair gets chopped off
Tis all a day dream
Except we all play a role

To rap, to sing
To sing forever. Oh, how to cry
For crying releases the emotions we can’t explain
When stars start erupting, exploding
Must life be as harsh
That is the theory
That makes this ugly life beautiful

For who in this world wants cold soup
The bitter taste of grapefruit
The whether man’s incorrect forecast
The let down of failing parachutes
The look upon the toddler’s face
The concerns you have are useless
And broken promises
That break crumbling souls instantly
When you run out of idea
On a distant island people smile

Who gives up before they start
To not work and relax is juvenile
But live laugh love is live work die
The story your writing is nearly a lie
Nothing stops, it only takes a break
