Scared and Couragous
I am scared and couragous
I wonder when my mom's going to die of cancer
I hear gossip everyday
I see them staring as I pass through the glum halls
I want my moms cancer cured
I am scared and couragous
I pretend I'm a bird so I could fly away
I feel happy yet sad
I touch my face to wipe my tears away
I worry about my mom all the time
I cry myself to sleep every night
I am scared and couragous
I understand my mom can't be cured
I say I'm happy when I'm not
I dream of a world without cancer
I try to make the best of everything
I hope my mom doesn't die too soon
I am scared and couragous
