Poem I
If in this glorious fate I shall die
Maybe this moment I’ll stand and cry
To watch myself in its sadly end
That I do not know how, where and when
Ne’er have I known if there’s a dawn to wait
Nor expect the sun to brighten my gait
Will there be a moon to conceal me?
Or a star to guide me to heaven?
And if I die not on time
Thine be my eyes to heaven
Galloping my soul in the eyes of a raven
Though silent but magnificent
Have me condoled in a piece of love
And warmth my wings as I fly above
