Mystic Towers

The American bullet screaming its last breaths
Penetrating its unwilling lady
Cool blue embers dancing into the abyss
Debris flying into the autumn sky
Silver tears running down her face
The pain of a head wound embraces her
The vision of falling angels welcomes her neighbors
As the sounds of despair crashes down

(A man appears
Teary dreamed and disillusioned
Immense heat pounces on his back
The kerosene fire surrounds him
A thousand suns explode in his face
As he takes his last breath
Leaping out towards the heavens
Saving what’s left of his soul

Final brainwaves yell S.O.S
Descending into the metropolis
The wind carries his battered body
Into the hands of immortality)

The screams of souls silenced in an instant
A world stunned
A messiah in tears
Burning embers inhaled by millions
Shards of metal break and burn
And bend over to praying to god

Her body concaving on itself
A vision now a fading memory
As she takes her last breath

Her inner soul fleeing
core melting
Final brainwaves yell S.O.S
Legacy falling into a pile of dust
Mystic spiral remains in freefall
And disappears into grey dawn
