My being
Somewhere in this wilderness
Along these many paths,
I sensed light from darkness
Warming my central parts.
I have tip toed through thorns
And run scared in the dark
Life’s misery’s I have held and shorn
New beginnings have my mark
I’m going to dance in the sun
Embrace life’s meaning
And when all is said and done
I was a lovely being
