The wild red rose

Gives out a lovely fragrance

Love is in the air

As I see a couple cuddles at the corner

Love and hate a thin line separates

As I see another couple fights

Love today, hatred tomorrow

What an irony of life

I wonder if love is blind

As the saying goes

I wonder if love is a thing

If love is life and life is love

We cannot do without loving

Yet it fades away easily

So quietly I seek to ask

Is love a thing of the heart

Or a state of the mind
