Mending Hearts
broken in half
torn between two lives
lost in sorrow
trying to cast aside the curse
plaguing him for the past six months
slowly eating him away
a new day dawns
the harbinger of new hopes
and of the remedy to this illness
comes over the morning sky
riding on a white stallion
shining in all her beauty,
giving a reason to stride on
wetting the white towel
cleaning his wounds
turning to crimson red
dripping with his pain
bandaging his torn soul
taking time to do the healing
bringing out the best in the scars
depsair dissipates
clouds give way
sun breaks through
smiles form
now whole
joined together as one
lifting each other up
sorrow's no more
hearts mended
