i used to think that i wasnt good enough,

for you to love me. i used to stay up and think of you,
crying myself to sleep after fighting with you.
i wish sometimes that i never knew you,
then maybe my life wouldnt be so complicated.
i know now that i was strong enough
because i didnt take your shit.
i know now that i was smart enough
because i let you go, and i know
now that i'm good enough
because i have a REAL man who tells me so!
