there is much to believe in what you have
for it is real and sincere…

you lend meaning to joy
like never defined before
it is like putting lemon drops
in the sky when it bleeds
giving timely relief
to my parched heart
and emotions sprouting forth
into otherworldly greens—
our budding haven
in this intimacy, i find
a myriad of possibilities
and in their unfolding
there is much to lose
as there is more to gain—
the gift of you
I try not to stifle any laugh
nor moans of grief—not
that there is grief to feel
but I let all feelings show—
it is the least i could do
now that more than
what you give
has come my way.
In silence therefore, I love you
With all my laughter
With all the salt of my tears
I put flavor to all that there is
Be it for now, be it for tomorrow.
