In the dark
Mind or being
We see things
That aren’t obvious in the light
In the dark
We let ourselves be
What we want
Who we want
In the dark
We share each other
With wise words
And cutting remarks
In the dark
We learn who we trust
Who we like
Who we love
But sometimes
In the dark
We can become lost
And alone
In the dark
We must wait
And wait
And wait
Until it all becomes clear.
