I hate how you're one of my closest friends
And you don't even know
What I'm beginning to feel
What I've always felt
I hate how you act
Around all other girls
With your arm around them
With your teasing smile
I hate how there's only
One girl you have in mind
And she's not even me
I wish it could be me
I hate how I'M the one who's there
I'M the one who cares
I'M the one who talks, who listens
And you don't even notice
I hate this feeling
That I have
I've never felt it before
Why am I feeling this way?
I hate that I think
