I am a girl who savors the smell
of his perfume and sweatshirt.

I am a girl who cries every night
because missing him hurts so bad.

I am a girl who walks alone on the street
because my man isn't here to hold my hand.

I am a girl who hates to hear lovesongs
because I couldn't help myself but cry.

I am a girl who stares at my phone
all day long waiting for his call.

I am a girl who dismisses my tasks
just to answer my phone when he calls.

I am a girl who has a big smile
when my phone beeps and I got his message.

I am a girl who stays at the rooftop every night
unwinding myself from sadness.

I am a girl who kisses the wind
wishing it could bring my kiss to him.

I am a girl who holds his photos
until I sleep and wake up the next morning.

I am a girl who defies distance
for the man I truly love.

I am a girl who patienlty waiting
for my soldier to come home.

I am a military girlfriend
who is deeply inlove with my soldier.
