Here With Me (Written in 2003)
I don’t see you here
We can’t be together right now
But there’s no need to fear
Because we’ll make it somehow
I want your strength here with me
But because of you I’m strong
I want your humor here with me
You’ve made me laugh for so long
I want your happiness here with me
But because of you I’m happy wherever
I want your love to surround me
So that I can feel it from you forever
I want your grin here with me
But just thinking of you makes me smile
I want your heart here with me
But I can feel it beat through all the miles
I want your hand here with me
But I know you’ll be my guide
I may not have this here now
But I will always need you in my life
You can’t be here all the time
But you’ll be the only one I dream
I can’t see you every second
But you’re always here with me
