Each Day In The World
why some people wish for power over others i will never understand
For to wish one to jump to their every command
The would be dictators of the World it does seem
They see abuse of their power as good for their self esteem,
Each day in the World many a new millionaire
And each day in the World millions of more in despair
Of ever in their life knowing of happiness
They missed the signpost of the road to success,
Each day in the World people of hunger dying
And poor starving children for food they are crying
And each day in the World the power hungry grab power
And before them the meek they are obliged to cower
And whilst a few grow wealthier there is much poverty
In a World where there is so much inequality.
