Creature

Sometimes when I'm not a sleep
the fear seems to run down deep
far from where my nightmares speak
and now in the shadows is where it creeps

Draws on my weakness and feeds on fear
It's horrifying screech I dare not hear
Now I want it to go away
Now I want it to disappear

Now all it wants is domination
a force or threat or confrontation
will bring forth a revelation
of it's inner contemplation

Growing stronger, ever does it now
a force of nature or some drow
and on the inner world is where it prowls
frightening all with it's howl
