Bigot, -Me?
Prejudice seated deeply
in dark recesses.
Placed far back in forgotten
memories.
Small town redneck boy
unthinking.
Differences are not
to trust.
Grown man professing
enlightenment.
“All men are created
equal”.
Dark thoughts creeping
through light.
Heaven help me.
Bigot, -Me?
Children playing, laughing,
one white, one black
At which one,
will I smile?
