Stranger
love has become stranger
the more older it becomes
With years of doing being seeing
Shot down
with guns
That mark the
beginning
And the ending
Of a race
In which there are no winners
Only competitors
Competing with each other for their share
Of the losses
Love is the strange
Kindness of losses
Softening wit and reason
The rise and fall
of waves
At tomorrows days
full of yesterdays
misunderstanding
love

all these
unwished for
unexpected arrivals
Leaving more strongly
Than it came
After
stranger still in longing
Holier in holes
And ragged
Broken
Unmended things
All hope made ugly beauty
And in age shining
Brighter on a abandoned beaches
Where the seagulls beat the air
And squawl
A broken chorus
So unheavenly
Ripped raw and real
After the dreaming youth
A broken shell
