The Waterfall
Humble hut by the cascading waterfall,
Land covered by the pure snow,
The trees stand tall and unyielding.
O, the sound of flowing water,
The hermit concentrates his focus deeply,
Surely 'tis life's physical embodiment?
This waterfall to end in time,
'Tis he learned in his contemplations,
That beauty expresses in itself sadness.
Yet this matters not to him,
He shall for this fleeting moment,
Enjoy this tranquil nature's beauty.
