Mid-Summer's Night
Glowing night,
clouds excite
the summer sky -
swaying limbs
in dusky shade
sing praise,
for All’s afire!
Stars tremble,
and planets gyre
but this lovers’ moon,
consumes
the shadowed earth
with passion’s
pure desire.
