At The End Of The Day
AT THE END OF THE DAY
At the end of the day
A poem can come only
As silence.
In the quiet
And in the darkness outside
There is a promise
Of light from within.
Late at night
When all is dark
And the darkness too
Is no longer afraid
These silent words
Like a psalm
Sing holy holy holy
God is nigh.
