So Now I Am Free
So now I am free-
I stay up half the night
Then sit in coffee shops
Drinking coffee-
I don't care what it tastes like,
Writing poetry...
I know the instant I try to get up
I will fall asleep-
The action would be too abrupt,
There are but interludes
Which interpose
And interrupt...
