The Lovers And The Fly That Dies In Ice Cream...
the pleasing gestures are not always there
at first, you think that you are welcome and you believe each word,
time floats like ice cream
you smell vanilla and feel the icy part
then the melting begins
it tastes sweeter
but it is no longer delicious
when the tongue takes part in all these licking
and when the throat swallows every melt
every sugar
when the glass becomes empty
a fly gets stuck somehow
you do not intend to save it
it dies
and it has no effect at all to you
both of you continue talking
believing and
convincing
death is no threat, not having to help someone
is not a problem of the mind
people die anyway, like flies,
people talk anyway like lovers mindless about what happens near them
eyes fixed
hearts beating
the world spinning
another day
another numbness....
