Of Lovers And Friends

i like the idea
that once we
were lovers
savoring each
sweetness
in the dark

then we were
torn apart
like some important
pages in the book
another chapter
is missing

what i do not like
about is this idea
that we cannot be
friends anymore

you shy away
even with the slightest
hush of my
hello

are you still in
pain?
you still love
me then?

i am at home
now
with love and
peace

there is only one
thing that i ask:
is friendship
dead in your heart?
