Everything is Temporary You Know
nothing, nothing
is ever permanent, &
so when i kiss you
i always,
always remind myself
that in another
moment it can be another
usual parting,
sweetest when
as early as dawn
after the hug
and the warmth
all night,
i begin to compare
it with
pain duly accepted.
