How pitiful can a pitiful people get?
Not only those subjected to media empathy.
Observed and followed by those in sympathetic guilt.
But also those who deny a people of human rights.
Then fight to come to their aid...
When cameras are in sight!

'And...
ACTION!
Don't distort the getting down with the boogey.
Tears people.
Put those tears in those eyes.
Comeon...
We don't have that kind of a budget.'

'Re-activites' rush to scenes to show their concerns,
For those who have been depicted as historically needy.
Yet...
Those who are and have been pro-active,
Are usually given bureaucratic distance...
From collective elitists who are thieves of democracy.

Especially if it concerns people of color.

But to lay on their exotic beaches to tan is a priority!
Feeding their conservative 'standards' with a liberal dose of lotion.
On any island where they are treated as creatures of goodwill.

How pitiful can a pitiful people get?
Not only those subjected to media empathy.
Observed and followed by those in sympathetic guilt.
But also those who deny a people of human rights.
Then fight to come to their aid...
When cameras are in sight!

And then declare themselves righteous.
Be they Black, White, Mulatto or hues and blends...
From different Oriental shores!
With puffed up chests and resources they've hoarded!

Black folks who are colored,
Are 'religously' ignored.
Until...
There is a crisis to assist and depict,
One's sense of moral giving to those made dependent.
While those sanctimoniously incline split with theft riches!

*How on Earth can you say that?
We are here as missionaries! *

'And...
CUT!
Wonderful, wonderful.
That's a 'take'.
I even believed it!
Prepare for the next scene ladies and gentlemen.
And please,
We need more of a 'haggard' appearance for the upcoming visuals.
No need for fresh tan looks in the shoot!
Be ready in twenty minutes! '
