Come inside If You Dare
Come inside if you dare.
You will not be spared,
Of those sensitivities you keep.
With a hope my tongue,
From you will stay censored.
I am a writer.
Not a candy maker.
And the only tissue you will find,
In my home when I am here alone
Is not for the wiping of tears to flush away.
