I just can't
for life of me
turn away and
set you free
when I see you
I stop and stare
thinking of the days when we
never left the other's side
I think of that smile
and the way you care
the love you have
and the love you share
it's so cute
the way you are
the dreams you have
and the time with you there
you make me smile
even now
I can't help it
because I truly care
you're funny
you're smart
but most of all
you're in my heart
time will pass
and open hearts
maybe someday
you'll see it clear
it's almost as though
my heart has a stamp
that was placed on it
saying your name
I know that I said
I would do my best
to forget the past
and get over you
but don't ask me
because even I don't know
I just can't get over you
I can't let you go
my heart starts racing
when I see your face
it starts pounding
when I hear your voice
to me your voice
is sweet sound to my ears
and to me you eyes
shape the sky
you know how in movies
when a girl sees a guy
the slow down the scene
just to seem so right
well that's how I feel
when I look at you
I feel like the world stopped
just for we two.
