I should be happy, I should be carefree
I should be open, and brave, and believe in everything I see
But the truth is I dont, I feel trapped and alone
Waiting for you to just tell me, 'come home'

Why do you hate me? What have I done?
I spent my entire life for you to say I love you a ton
Sure, you've saying the L word to me
But never once did it feel like you meant a thing

I'm not a dog or a cat or any pet
I'm a human thats been left
There are holes in my heart that will never be filled
Because instead of changing youd rather be killed

I've grown up and become as close to a women as my body will allow
but if you really look, I'm still that same scared little girl, trying to figure it outFigure out why this world can be so cruel and unforgiving
Expecially to those who are still living

Mom, I forgive you for everything you've done
I just hope when I call you, one day, youll come
