Friendless
Come sleep with me in my solitary lair
Talk to me and weave my hair
Cuddle me and warm me bed
Pray for me and bless me head
Laugh with me and wipe my tears
Stay with me and know my fears
Stay a while longer and see me bare
Stripped of masks and every care
If you walk by these lonely ways
And think my life a waste of days
A flickering light that will in no time fade
I asked, I begged, yet no one stayed
Solitude and me be friends
Yet no one stayed until the end.
