Mother To Hold

I drew her near and kissed
She was so much near yet missed
She was, in fact, eye ball for my existence
I may sometimes go mad if not see her by chance

Every parent may be feeling same
Lot more love to give than it had to come
I may guess what she will look like when fully grown
With strong wings she may go away or simply flown

I pulled her close and raised in air
She was so lovely to be looked at curly hair
I needed no medium to enjoy vacuum
She may cry and fill the air with full volume

As child, she has brought personal fortune
Now I have no worries and sing to the happy tune
She may come and speak in unclear voice
I raise her again to fulfill all my promises

One child is enough for mother
To feel entire world and close in on her
What will happen if she is lost for few seconds?
I shall run like fish in entire pond

She is part and parcel of my flesh
How red shine appear on face and seem so fresh?
So many times I used to slip in distant memory
Only to come back with negative ideas to worry

She is only child with me to look after
I feel happy and burst into laughter
I look at her eyes and take pride
What else is there for me to hide?

It is treasure of mother to hold
It is not less than diamond or gold
Her presence itself takes away all gloom
There is joy and happiness filled in the room

I become nervous when she is unwell
Rush to neighbors and impatiently tell
About her illness and ask for remedy
They will rush along with me to provide it ready
