When love dies
When love dies
and its hunger
fades away
and what remains
is second best
to what it was before
and love is only kindliness,
what shall we do?
Will we try to rekindle
that old flame
and give more fuel to it,
or will we let it lie:
and search for other horizons
past the known sky?
