Cold war
I experienced a cold war
and silently it sneaked in,
first in the way that you looked at me
that was cutting right through me
and your words becoming blunt
followed by a little rebellious gesture.
In a winter night
you did not want to lie with me
and went to sleep at another place
and I had a cold bed
next to me.
