Ticks Our Time Away
The clock on the wall
ticks our time away.
Second by second,
minute by minute
each and everyday.
We cannot stop
the march of time.
However, it would be nice
to stop it in its tracks
so we could amend
a few things that we do.
Then after we do it,
we could let time carry on its way.
