New Day
The morning mist recedes
as a new day is born.
The sun sparkles on the dewdrops
and warms each petals head
as each living creature awakes
from its sleepy head.
A new day with new beginnings
for everyone and everything.
For some it will bring joy
in measures unbound,
while for others there will be sorrows
to darken their frown.
No matter what kind of day
it begins like,
it can always be worked upon.
