I Will Survive
The world can be a hard place
for everyone living here.
Dangers present themselves
to us on a daily basis.
Each day we look
forward to the next,
always saying to ourselves
I will survive I will survive.
We battle through the black clouds
that circle around our head
always thinking of
the better times that lie ahead.
We sleep and dream
of all the things we wish
always saying to ourselves
I will survive I will survive.
