Angel In The Sky
I walked home last night
as the dark clouds of night descended.
There above the horizon I saw
a cloud shaped like an angel
with its wings outstretched,
gliding serenely across the sky.
I had no way of knowing
which way the angel was going
only that before too long
she immersed within the other clouds
that stretched across the sky
and disappeared forever
in the heavens above.
