Every day is ours
Every face in the crowd - ours
Every morning we wake
Every breakfast we eat
Every breath we take
Ours
Every dollar we give to those in need
Ours
All that is right and good
Ours
Our life
Ours
Our Salvation
Ours
But death is also ours
Every tearful eye is ours
Everyone we hurt is ours
Every act of hate
And greed
And wickedness
Ours
So must carry what is ours
And must let go of all that spites us
For what's ours
Is our burden
