War In My Head
I feel as though i have a war in my head.
No matter what i do,
It just keeps going.
I try to distract myself
With my favorite
Shows, books, and music.
But no matter what,
The war keeps raging.
I'm tired and want to sleep,
But
I
Can't.
The war keeps
Me awake.
I don't want to sleep,
I NEED to sleep.
My head won't shut down!
So,
Instead,
I'll lie awake in bed,
Counting the minutes
Until I have to get ready
For battle:
School.
School,
With it's never-ending hallways
And pointless lessons.
In which it would be more productive
To bang my head against a wall.
School,
With gross lunches
And stupid teachers,
Who were probably ordered online
Than hired.
School,
In which I have to face people
That I'd rather not see.
They call this education?
