This Poem Brought To You By The Word Stop
Before me is red
A giant red circle
Glowing in front of me
At the top
Of a strange light contraption
It signals to me
To stop, cease movement
I stopped just to find
The light device
Has a green circle
At the bottom
There’s a strange urge
Within me
That says go
But I wonder
About that red light
That was in front of me
Wondering where it went
And whether or not
I should stay
And wait to see it again
To further find instruction
To know what the next light
Really means
Yellow
I see red again
I experience a sense of euphoria
I stare at the light
And enjoy the radiance
Of its presence
