Tall Bamboos
A long red vine through the boards it weaves
The fence is not quite straight
Rain dripped from all the bright green leaves
Blue Tit sitting on the back gate
A butterfly struggles through the air
And lands right no my nose
With crossed eye’s I now stare
At the message it bestows
To a butterfly do I look like a plant?
From the moon I would look like an ant
It‘s hard to place myself in butterfly’s shoes
You think it would prefer nice tall bamboos
I shake my head and it flies away
The sun peeks out from behind a cloud
Let out a sigh what a wonderful day
You know I am feeling quite endowed
