Every Girl Became My Sister
Angels dreamt of my existence
On a sunny spring day
As grasshoppers frolicked
In the soft grass
And robins played
In nearby fountains
Beside shady trees.
Every girl
In a thousand mystic parks
Became my sister
And their honeyed songs
Were brought to me
Through a melodic breeze.
When I fall into
The loving arms of mother slumber,
I know my heart will be protected
And my body kept warm;
I now perceive my paths are charmed
With seraphs waiting to offer me
Amulets along every avenue I tread.
