Unheeded
Will he remain unheeded,
as the hollow one cries?
Death into his fate has been seeded,
and like an amaranth never dies.
Fill the skin bottle with your tears,
for surely you will need them through the years,
save them for another occasion,
and with them seal a future abrasion.
How his life is fraught with lies,
and the years treat him like waste;
As swift as the osprey flies,
Hades' garden spreads with haste.
Always feeling distraught,
a flower killed by weeds,
he searches for a draught,
on sugar-coated poison he feeds.
Yet he never wishes to complain,
and always has a smile on his face,
despite the sadness and pain,
with whom he runs a race.
People have taken no heed,
instead they turn away,
they do not see him bleed,
as he smells Death's bouquet.
