An Old Man Cannot Sleep At Three O'Clock At Night Erev Chanukah 5770
AN OLD MAN CANNOT SLEEP AT THREE O’CLOCK AT NIGHT EREV CHANUKAH 5770
An old man cannot sleep at three o’clock at night
The dark night is not the night of his soul,
He knows morning and light will come.
He is old
But he believes in a new day,
Every new day
Has its light and its surprises
Life difficult and not
Is always a new story.
Let us deep in the night,
Dream always of the day
And even in our old age
Hope and hope again
For the light which will come.
