Pride for pyre
I have a son; how proud I was
When he was born! How proud I was
When he had grown and abroad flown!
Left to neglect, I am still proud
Of him, his sons, sons’ sons,
Non of whom have given their dues.
I broadcast of them in the old age home
To earn for my pyre some respect.
