An Astronomer To His Love
You're my star, shining brighter than the rest
Like Arcturus, you beacon to my eyes
As shine the Quarks and Mouns that line the crest
Of Quantum nanoseconds till it dies
My love expands with Time and Space
Unbounded as the Open Universe
Though meteorites would fall, it won't deface
And just like Orbits' Flow, cannot reverse.
As comets we'll traverse, the Cosmic Space
Yet to return, as due our Cyclic rate
Let our hearts, with each other, beat in pace
In constancy that is without abate
Should fate decree we'd be light years apart
A Wormhole I'll conjure, towards your side
Should we crumble to Cosmic Dust, and part,
Like Blackholes I'll become, wanting inside
So, have pity, lovely stellar flower
And please forgive if in our date I'm late
My watch fell down the drain, it turned slower
That is some Warp in Time I can't negate.
