Lonely Bone
The hollow bone stands alone
Amidst the clapping condor wings
Commiserating with the fallen plumes
Cascading sunwards to deny
The winds from their liberty
Whilst you traversed the leaking sun
And leave the deafening ruins
The bone bows to implore protection
Sullying in the graying sky
Where your remorseful faces
Was painted by the Eastern wind
Like a danseuse of passing time
You glanced, waved not your good bye
And left the vermillion bleeding
Trapped in the vineyard of memories
Until one day the vines would sprout
To touch the havens in your sky
Intoxicated from the brewery
Of your empty rues and bliss
But for now the bone remained alone
Whilst you depart with the sun
And the sky was ever higher
Whilst time was away and somewhere else.
