Trust Is One's Valued Investment
When trust is lost...
It is gone.
Some unaccustomed,
To having it taken away from them...
Believe it is in temporary hiding.
Deciding to make a reappearance.
Like a child that heals,
From feelings that have been hurt.
And dismissing issues of integrity.
After that has been drugged through dirt!
For the last time.
When trust is lost...
It is gone.
And those who know this...
Know 'that' too well.
And a worth kept,
From getting further smudged...
Has nothing to do,
With a believed ego that swells.
Trust is one's valued investment.
Not a presentation to impress.
Or improvise.
