Calculated
We do not learn to be patient.
Or teach ourselves to appreciate,
Each other's gifts.
With a respect or our blessings given.
We wish to use manipulation,
As a source to show our ways.
And we think our children 'cute'
When they begin to place,
Their deceptions on display.
And 'that' behavior is approved...
As being accepted and okay!
And that is calculated!
One that is encouraged,
To be awarded everyday.
We embrace it and become elated.
Calculated.
With anything that is done,
Calculated.
To undermine anyone.
And not having an insight...
To recognize it when it comes.
A calculation to undo,
Those we sought out to dupe...
And conquer,
In a glorious contrived win...
With a calculated ending.
But now finds us the ones,
Who hobble along...
Baffled, broken and stunned!
Calculated in a hidden secret mix.
And preparing to transfix inflated egos.
To experience a flopping...
Shocking to those downtrodden.
Without a clue or a hint of it!
