Based Upon Assumptions
It is not advantageous,
To judge a book by its cover.
Or quote what is stated from its pages,
From others illiterately connected to life.
Nor can they comprehend,
Content, purpose or meaning of relationships.
It is not advantageous,
To repeat what one has heard.
Or gossip when there is an absence of fact.
Allowing oneself to participate,
In the spreading lies to then apologize with alibis.
Regret one day will be attached to that.
Oh...
This makes for an awful reading of someone,
Discovered to be much different...
Than what one expects or has been told.
How can anyone erase what false lips unfold.
This becomes a difficult situation,
Especially if that 'someone' knows...
Who has played an instrumental role,
In making active attempts to defame...
And character assassinate one's identity.
One earned to claim with a name that gains influence.
To become slimed and shamed,
By those feeding an increasing of ignorance.
Based upon assumptions.
