September 11th
I remember so clearly what happened that day.
For the people there nothing went their way.
I was at school and seen it on tv.
It made me sad to see.
I seen that a plane was in the first tower.
Then I watched the other fly through within the hour.
We didn't get to see everything that went on,
but we knew enough to know that the towers were gone.
I saw them collapse till nothing but rubble was left,
and to see all the commotion I could have wept.
I'm so glad my family was here at home,
but felt pain for the people who's family was gone.
I'll probably never forget that day, and I'll never take
living for granted
cause a tragedy like on that day can happen anytime on this planet.
